To modernize its customer information system (CIS), it is relying on the PEAK.TMS train management system from Berlin-based software company Peak Mobility. <\/p><p><strong>System Integration: Collaboration with Zurich Transport Authority ZVV\u2019s Traffic Management System<\/strong><br>The new solution ensures unified, real-time control of passenger information and enables efficient dispatching to ensure safe and punctual rail operations. Seamless integration into the system landscape of partners such as ZVV is also guaranteed. A particular focus is placed on interfacing with the ILTIS control and information system from Siemens Mobility, as well as with central data hubs like SBB\u2019s Customer System (CUS) and the Visual Inspection System (VIS), which monitors train operations via GPS tracking.  <\/p><p><strong>Central Control Center Software: Functions and Benefits<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Efficient dispatching and passenger information in the event of delays, disruptions, and track changes<\/li><li>Real-time passenger information via displays and audio announcements<\/li><li>GPS-based vehicle tracking<\/li><li>Expandability to include stationary and mobile components in further project phases<\/li><\/ul><p>With this, Forchbahn lays the foundation for stable operations and reliable passenger information across all channels. The new control center software will be operational during 2026. The next project phase will begin in 2027, and by around 2028, stations will be continuously equipped with hardware components and integrated into the control center software. It operates the S18 line between Zurich Stadelhofen and Esslingen. Forchbahn is a narrow-gauge railway with approximately 17 km of track and 20 stations.
