Product Manager (m/f/d) with Focus on PEAK.DMS (Depot Management)

You will consistently further develop PEAK.DMS as the established, market-leading standard for public transit depot management, creating sustainable value for our customers. Against the backdrop of growing demands driven by electromobility, increasing digitalization, and ever-greater system integration, you will actively shape the next stage of development for an already successful product.

Through data-driven decision-making, clear product strategies, and the targeted use of AI, you will drive innovation and efficiency. In doing so, you will combine domain expertise, technology, and market requirements into a future-proof product.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategic development of PEAK.DMS across the entire product lifecycle and co-management of the development roadmap
  • Developing decision-making frameworks for senior management based on market analyses, KPI evaluations, and business cases
  • Commercial product responsibility and cross-functional management of operational metrics in collaboration with CS, PS, and R&D
  • Collaboration with Sales on the content of proposals
  • Representing the company to clients, partners, and at industry events

What you will need

Technical

  • Several years of experience in product management, ideally in the field of software for transportation companies
  • Very good understanding of depot processes, particularly vehicle dispatching, maintenance, scheduling, or workshop management in public transport
  • Experience in gathering, organizing, and prioritizing complex requirements
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear and realistic product requirements
  • Ideally, some hands-on experience with AI/ML-based use cases, such as forecasting, optimization, automation, or decision support
  • Ability to translate the potential of AI into concrete, marketable, and operationally viable product features
  • Ideally, an existing network within the industry

Technical

  • Proficient Use of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • A strong interest in AI and a solid understanding of the practical application of AI and data-driven features in software products
  • Experience with integrated system environments and interfaces
