Berlin, June 10, 2025 – PSI Transcom GmbH will be participating in the UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Hamburg from June 15 to 18, 2025 – the world’s leading trade fair for sustainable urban mobility. Under the motto “Trend-setting impulses for local public transport”, the Berlin-based software company will present systems for digitally networked and efficient local public transport at booth A 3542.

Integrated rail traffic management
A central highlight of the trade fair presentation is the integrated PSItraffic/TMS train management system. It digitally maps all processes of rail operations – from network modeling and dispatching to the simulation of complex operating scenarios.

Managing passenger flows in real time with DB Lightgate
The DB Lightgate solution will be presented together with S-Bahn Hamburg. The system records the number of passengers in the individual carriages in real time and visualizes this clearly and colour-coded on the displays on the platform. Passengers can thus see which carriages still have free seats before the train arrives. This shortens waiting times and increases punctuality. The data is further processed in the dispatching department using AI and forms the basis for better timetable planning in the future.

Intelligently automate custody processes
PSI Transcom will also be presenting its depot management system, which enables transport companies to intelligently manage their bus fleets. The focus of the innovation is on complete depot automation, which will enable vehicles to move around the depot autonomously in the future. The aim is to relieve drivers of work in the depot so that they are available for passenger journeys.
